Chicken soup is healthy dose of nutrition for fighting colds

Research suggests but does not prove that eating chicken soup may help fight a cold, possibly through anti-inflammatory effects or aromas that could ease symptoms. Registered dietitian Kristen Smith said chicken soup is a nutrient-dense food option for people with a poor appetite and also can help increase hydration.
